As part of the celebration, 9-1-1 Telecommunicator Calvin Hunsinger shared his most memorable call:
“I had a call where a woman was stuck in a 2nd story bathroom of her apartment. The 1st floor and stairs were on fire, so she was unable to get out. The fire department was able to get there and get her out of the burning building. She was intubated but recovered. This is one of the calls that reminds me of why I am proud of the work I do.“
