New reservation system coming March 2

We are introducing a new online reservation system on Monday, March 2, 2026. The new system will receive reservations and registration for Parks & Conservation Resources programs, campsites, shelters, beach and boat parking passes, and events requiring registration. Our current system will be offline and reservation services will be suspended from February 21 to March 1. User accounts will be automatically created for anyone with an active shelter or campsite reservation on or after March 2, 2026. All other users will need to create new accounts when they sign-in for the first time.

War Veterans’ Memorial Park is 112 acres in St. Petersburg. The focal point of this park is a landscaped Memorial Center featuring five plaques with official armed forces flags that commemorate each of the United States’ military branches. This park also has a Battlefield Cross, a Sundial and an Army Tank.

The park provides many shaded areas to view Boca Ciega Bay.

Boat launch access limited at War Veterans’ Memorial Park

Due to hurricane damage, boat ramp amenities at War Veterans’ Memorial Park are limited. Although the ramp is available, no floating docks are functional. Work to construct new floating docks is underway with design to be finalized by late 2025 and construction estimated to be completed in Summer 2026. Construction of the new floating docks is taking longer than originally anticipated to provide a more storm-resistant, resilient structure that includes the use of concrete rather than wooden piers. We will update the timeline for completion as more information about the construction schedule becomes available. Parking fees at the boat ramp are temporarily suspended. Please exercise caution when using the ramp.
