Boat Launch Access Limited at War Veterans’ Memorial Park

Due to hurricane damage, boat ramp amenities at War Veterans’ Memorial Park are limited. While the ramp is available, no floating docks are functional. Plans to construct new floating docks are underway, with completion expected by late 2025. Please exercise extreme caution when using the ramp.

War Veterans’ Memorial Park is 112 acres in St. Petersburg. The focal point of this park is a landscaped Memorial Center featuring five plaques with official armed forces flags that commemorate each of the United States’ military branches. This park also has a Battlefield Cross, a Sundial and an Army Tank. 

The park provides many shaded areas to view Boca Ciega Bay.

Open 7 days a week, 7 a.m. to sunset
County Parks are closed two days throughout the year, the day after Thanksgiving and December 25.
