Onsite Biometric Screenings

Employees on the County’s medical plan who would like to qualify for the preferred premium have the option to complete an onsite biometric screening at a site-specific event or a location open to all. Quest providers will draw blood and take body measurements (blood pressure, height, and weight). This is the same screening you get at a Direct-to-Quest Diagnostics® Patient Service Center.

Donate Glasses for Good

Now – April 11

Do you have old eyeglasses, sunglasses, or reader glasses? Donate your glasses at collection sites across the County to help others in need. You can donate prescription and non-prescription glasses (no eyeglass cases please).

  • Glasses in good condition will be donated to the Lions Club, who cleans them and provides them to communities in need. 
  • For each pair of glasses donated, EyeMed will donate $5 in the name of Pinellas County Government to the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation.

Paws for Prevention Suicide Awareness Walk & Event

Join us to show support for our community and those impacted by suicide. 

  • The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is hosting the Pinellas County Paws for Prevention Event to bring hope to those affected by suicide. 
  • Family-friendly activities including Pet Parade, arts and crafts, yard games, story time, kids’ playground, paw-ty time at the dog park, and more. 
  • Friends, family, and dogs are welcome. 
  • Registration is not required to attend; however, those who sign up and attend the event will receive a Wellness Program t-shirt. We’ll meet at Shelter 7 at 9:45 a.m. for a group photo.

Deskercise: Movement Snacks
