Storm Closure Update

Brooker Creek Preserve reopened to the public Saturday, Oct. 19, following hurricanes Milton and Helene. Visitors should expect tall grass and some debris and be cautious of possible wildlife interactions as animals return to previously flooded areas. Please avoid downed trees and areas marked as off limits. Report any issues to onsite park rangers.

At about 8,700 acres, Brooker Creek Preserve is a significant conservation area in the northeastern corner of Pinellas County, where the management of its natural resources (including the protection of its drinkable water supply) is a priority. Pinellas County government and Southwest Florida Water Management District own the preserve, and Parks & Conservation Resources manages it.

Experience, discover and understand the Preserve’s role in the Brooker Creek watershed.

Visit the Brooker Creek Preserve Environmental Education Center to find information, activities, educational programs, and hiking trails.
