Employee Clubs
Couch to 5K Run Club
(January 13 – March 31, Tuesdays, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.)

Limit of 25 participants.
Register now for the Couch to 5K Run Club that follows a 12-week timed walk/run interval program designed to help you build endurance, confidence and consistency.
From day 1, participants are grouped by pace, so everyone has at least one buddy as they trek around Crest Lake Park in Clearwater. At the end of the scheduled program, there will be an optional 5K race in April when you can put your new skills to the test!

Neurographics: A Virtual Art Therapy Workshop

Register now for a 50-minute virtual art therapy workshop to combine art and science to unlock your inner calm.
- Neurographics combines mindful drawing and neuroscience-based techniques to rewire thought patterns and reduce stress.

Stick Figure Storytelling: Finding Meaning Through Simple Lines

Register now for a 50-minute virtual art therapy workshop to discover how the simplest drawings can tell the deepest stories.
- This class uses stick figures as a vehicle for storytelling, emotional release, and self-reflection. By removing pressure to “make good art,” participants access pure, intuitive expression — letting emotions, memories, and personal narratives unfold through simple drawings.
- All artistic levels welcome! You will need a pen, pencil, white plain paper and colored pencils are optional.

Register now for a two-part virtual series (one link for both dates).
- Self-defense might seem difficult to learn online; however, these techniques are simple, effective, and easy to remember—even under stress.
- Learn how to recognize danger before it becomes physical and how to act fast and effectively if it does.
- Spot pre-attack cues, create safe distance, establish a strong defensive frame, respond to common attacks like grabs, chokes and strikes.
- Receive a video and picture packet after class to continue to practice with your family at home.
- Attendance at both sessions is encouraged as the principles and strategies build on each other but it’s not required. The sessions will be recorded.

Sound Healing and Meditation for Stress Relief

Register now for a 50-minute guided meditation on January 8 in downtown Clearwater at 310 Court Street, 1st Floor Conference Room and on January 14 at Public Works, 22211 U.S. Highway 19 N, Building 1, Room 230, Clearwater.
- Enjoy the soothing power of sound healing to help melt away stress and restore inner calm.
- You’ll experience the gentle vibrations of crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments, all designed to support relaxation and mental clarity.
- Soft ambient lighting and optional essential oils will help create a peaceful environment.
- The session is done lying on the floor for full-body relaxation, so please bring a yoga mat and a blanket. Chairs will be available if you prefer to sit.

Register now for an onsite workshop dedicated to child support and designed for single, unmarried, separated, and divorced co-parents, as well as caregivers and grandparents, who want to better understand how child support really works in Florida.
- Our Children Have Rights protects the rights of children to have access to parents by providing education and support services for successful co-parenting strategies.
- Learn how child support is calculated, including Florida’s formula, and the steps involved.
- Understand the role of the Florida Department of Revenue’s Child Support Program, what services they provide, and how to prepare before reaching out or visiting an office.
- Learn the difference between child support and co-parenting expenses, how these expenses can be included in a parenting plan and explore methods to divide costs—complete with pros, cons, and helpful tools and resources.
