Quick Facts

Reclaimed Water Rate Plan Options

Demand for reclaimed water in Pinellas County has steadily increased, often outpacing available supply during dry seasons. Reclaimed water access is not always balanced across users. To address this, the County is exploring new ways to structure reclaimed water rates that encourage conservation, stretch supplies further and better reflect actual use. Before making changes, we want to hear from you. Learn how you can participate in public meetings and provide input at pinellas.gov/rcw-options.

Private Sewer Lateral Rebates

Pinellas County Utilities is offering one-time rebates to eligible sewer customers for 50% of the cost of private sewer lateral replacement or rehabilitation up to $3,500. Rebates are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. Visit privatesewer.pinellas.gov to learn more.

Digital Meter Project

Pinellas County Utilities is in the process of upgrading drinking water meters and installing new reclaimed water meters. Current meters will be replaced with digital meters, which provide customers with more accurate and up-to-date information about their water usage so they can save water and money through early leak detection. Learn more at digitalmeter.pinellas.gov.
