Effective July 1, 2026, the building fee schedule will be updated specific to inspection fees and private provider fees for compliance with House Bill 803 and Florida Statute 553.79. BDRS webpage updates will reflect this state legislation with an updated permit fee schedule and a temporary registration link for the private provider registry. A dedicated webpage will outline the revised permit exemption criteria and the new permit expiration timelines required under Florida Statute 125.56.

Scammers are using publicly available data to create fake invoices claiming to be from Pinellas County. Protect yourself by only trusting emails from pinellas.gov or no_reply@accela.com. Payments are made only inside the Accela platform or in-person at our office. BDRS will never ask to pay through any other means such as a wire transfer.
